TJ Kong Murdershow Pivot with Kate Bernhardt

In honor of the fifth annual installment of the raucous Halloween party (dubbed “the Murdershow“) thrown by gritty Americana rockers TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb, Rock on Philly presents a special feature in the week leading up to the event. Each day, we’ll feature one of the event’s many bands providing their answers to the famous Pivot Questionnaire (also known as “the questions James Lipton asks at the end of Inside the Actor’s Studio“.) The special part? We’ve adapted the questionnaire to make it slightly more…murder-y. ‘Tis the season!

For the fifth year in a row, Philadephia players TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb have put together a Halloween event to blow your barely-costumed house parties out of the water, aptly dubbed “The Rock ‘n Roll Murdershow” for what it will do to your eardrums, expectations, and who knows what else. The event’s fifth iteration, held at Underground Arts, features eight bands on two stages, including chamber pop crowd Tutlie, roots-influenced rockers Mo Lowda and the Humble, unorthodox operatic group the Divine Hand Ensemble, and more.

To help get attendees and potential party-goers in the mood, Rock on Philly is asking several of the event’s performers to answer a specially-styled Pivot Questionnaire. Today’s chapter features answers from the Bernhardt Family Band’s siren of song, Kate Bernhardt. Read on for Kate’s answers, and be sure to pick up your tickets for the Murdershow before they sell out!
