Want to be heard by 70,000 runners? Then submit your song to the Official Love Run 2015 Playlist

On Sunday, March 29th, the second annual Love Run will take place in Philadelphia. The half marathon event attracts runners from all over the world and over 70,000 runners participate in CGI Racing Events.

To add a soundtrack to the 13.1 mile course this year, The Love Run has partnered with Rock On Philly to put together The Official Love Run 2015 Playlist. At least five spots will be reserved for artists/bands in the Philadelphia region. The playlist will be featured on the Love Run homepage as well as their newsletter.

Want to have your music considered? E-mail loverunplaylist@gmail.com with a streamable link to one of your best original songs (Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify), an artist bio, and contact information. We’ll need to get in touch if we choose your song!

Preference will be given to solidly produced, uptempo tracks.

If there’s an artist or song you’d like to hear on the playlist, comment on the blog post below and we’ll check it out! Or you can tag @rockonphillymag with the hashtag #loverunplaylist with your suggestions.

Submissions will be accepted from Tuesday, January 6th at 8AM EST until Tuesday, February 10th at 8AM EST. Winners will be notified by Friday, February 13th at 5PM EST.

My all time fav: Happy by Pharrell Williams
And I don’t care if it’s overplayed 🙂 – it always gets me up for a race!

Broken Windows by South Jersey’s own, Hold Your Own is a great track for running.
