Best Weekend Ever: So Much to Do, So Little Time!

There are so many fun things to do this weekend in Philly, so where do we begin?

Friday, February 27

Starting tonight, you have a hard choice to make!

Join Rock On Philly at the TLA for Moosh and Twist and special guests Ground Up and Major Van Winkle. Get tickets here!

If headbanging is more your taste, make your way to Chinatown at the Trocadero for Hell Yeah on their Blood for Blood tour!  Devour the Day, Archer, and Like A Storm will be there, too! Tickets are still available here.

Saturday, February 28

Sleater-Kinney is performing at Union Transfer…need we say more?  Tickets are sold out via the venue to see this iconic trio, but, if you’re lucky enough to snag a pair on StubHub (here), be our guest!

To mend your broken heart, this is the final night Philadelphia Orchestra is having their Philadelphia Pride concert at the Kimmel Center! This series runs from Thursday, February 26th, Friday the 27th, and Saturday the 28th at 8pm!  Get tickets here!

Sunday, March 1

From our previous post, you probably already know that WXPN is hosting the fourth annual Tri-State Indie Music Awards!  Come to World Cafe Live and support your faves!  Tickets are limited, and you can get them here!

Feeling nostalgic? The Lovers League and Dani Mari present “At The Hop” at Ortlieb’s Lounge in Northern Liberties!  The event will feature musicians performing their versions of songs from the 1950’s, as well as two original songs!  This is a great way to revive the swinging past and embrace the new and original future! Get tickets and more info here and here!

There are so many great things to do this weekend that we don’t envy your decision! From the orchestra to metal, to hip-hop and the best in indie music, you can most certainly find something to do!
