Why You Need To Go To Hollystock 2015

Woodstock may be long gone but the 4th annual Hollystock Music and Arts Festival is returning to Mount Holly, New Jersey on August 8th. This town-wide event, hosted by Main Street Mount Holly and Township of Mount Holly, will feature food trucks, local vendors, open art galleries, and Mount Holly’s two craft breweries The Village Idiot Brewing Company and Spellbound Brewing, along with event sponsor, Flying Fish Beer. If that doesn’t convince you to head over the bridge, here are a few other reasons why you should re-consider…

Benefits a Great Cause

Members from the Army and Navy Patriot Games teams race to fill as many boxes of food during the third leg of the Patriot Games Dec. 10, in Philadelphia. In less than 18 minutes, the two teams filled 156 boxes filled with food that will be distributed in the local community. Hollystock will host 40 artists on three outdoor stages throughout the day, with many artists being from the Philadelphia/tri-state area. Some of the strongest local rock bands will play, including Rock On Philly’s May Artist of the Month Nik GreeleyCold Roses, who opened up this year’s 93.3 MMRBQ; Kid Felix, who also have played the MMRBQ in the past and have been featured on 93.3 WMMR and Radio 104.5. Returning acts to Hollystock include the legendary John Faye (of The CaulfieldsJohn & Brittany), who will sweep us away with new music and has also performed most recently at Radio 104.5’s June 12 Summer Block Party, and the warriors of Soraia, who have been included in WMMR’s Jaxon’s Local Shots and will surely kick major derriere with the best of them… as well as many, many more!

National Talent

Major talent headlining the festival include Rusted Root, who are known for their unique fusion of acoustic rock and world music, and Bianca Ryan, the first ever Grand Prize winner of the NBC show America’s Got Talent. Her newest single “Alice,” released last month, has gained international attention and has over 500,000 views on YouTube.
