Thursday 3/24:

Kevin Garrett based out of Brooklyn is treating Philly to a show at MilkBoy. He is on the rise with features on Spotify’s viral playlists and on stage collaborations with impressive acts. The young singer-songwriter’s performance will be perfect for a Thursday night out and absorbing good music. Get tickets here.

Beautiful soul sensation Andra Day is performing a sold-out show at Ardmore Music Hall. Seriously envy those who has tickets to this show, as she has been all over the news since her beautiful performance at the GRAMMYS. Every note hit is like a shot of adrenaline that’ll give you LIFE.

Friday 3/25:

Free At Noon at World Cafe Live Philly this time will feature Rising Appalachia, who will then perform a full set at night. Rising Appalachia is comprised of sisters Leah and Chloe Smith, who specialize in global music and create music using every instrument from around the world. New Orleans alternative band Mutemath sold-out at Union Transfer. Their music is complex and well thought out. It is no wonder they have a huge following, as the sound and artistry speak for itself. Mutemath will be opened by Paper Route. You can find tickets for resale here.

OWEL from New Jersey is fresh from their SXSW shows, and performing at MilkBoy to close out their tour. The five-piece band adds orchestral touches, with instruments like violin and glock added. The combination results as creative rock etudes that are different and visually entertaining as well. Grab tickets here and go check them out!
