Legendary film auteur and recording artist David Lynch has announced Festival of Disruption, a multimedia festival that will be held at the Ace Hotel and Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles on October 8th and 9th.

The festival, curated by Lynch himself, will feature headlining performances from Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, St. Vincent, Questlove, and Rhye. There will also be music from Lynch’s cult-classic (and newly revived) series, Twin Peaks, performed by Sky Ferreira, Xiu Xiu, and Angelo Badalamenti.

Billed along the music are talks from Twin Peaks stars Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern as well as comedy legend Mel Brooks and Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Chris Stein. Lynch will also be screening some of his own, rarely seen short films and classic such as The Elephant Man and Blue Velvet Revisited.

The program promises a number of impressive art and activities, most notably an exhibit from world-renown architect Frank Gehry and daily Transcendental Meditation. It’s an amazing undertaking brought to us from one of the most culturally significant artists in the world.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, June 24th at 1 pm EST. 100% of the proceeds from Festival of Disruption will benefit the David Lynch Foundation, whose mission is reducing toxic stress and trauma among at-risk populations, including veterans suffering from PTSD, victims of domestic abuse, and underserved urban youth, through evidence-based Transcendental Meditation technique.
