The temperatures are dropping this weekend, but let’s keep our energy high with these awesome shows hitting town.
Jamie Isaac, hailing from London, will be performing at Boot & Saddle on Thursday night. His young age is deceptive to the mature arrangements of jazzy, ambient, tracks he creates. You’ll be sure to hear some of his new music off of Couch Baby released last year. Tickets are available here.
Philly’s own indie rock band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are performing two nights at Johnny Brenda’s. Since the Friday show is sold out, your best bet is the Thursday show if you haven’t bought tickets yet. Tickets for Thursday night are available here, but they’re going fast!
Kevin Garrett‘s show at World Cafe Live on Friday night is sold out. This young R&B singer-songwriter is so talented, and he is one of the producers and writers on Beyoncé’s incredible “Pray You Catch Me.” The Pittsburgh native’s voice is smooth and delightful. Look for resale tickets here.
The psychedelic rock band The Flaming Lips is coming to The Fillmore. They’ve stayed relevant and active by associating with acts like Miley Cyrus and Kesha. They released their latest album Oczy Mlody was released in January. Their show is understandably sold out. Look for resale tickets here.
Thundercat is coming to Philly for a sold out night at Union Transfer. Thundercat is bassist Stephen Bruner, and he is credited with collaborating with Kendrick Lamar on his masterpiece, To Pimp A Butterfly. Try looking for resale tickets here.
