Paper Lions’ New Single “Philadelphia”

Paper Lions is an alternative rock band from Canada formed in 2004 with brothers John MacPhee on vocals and guitar and Rob MacPhee on bass, and also David Cyrus MacDonald on drums and Colin Buchanan on guitar. They’re coming out with their new album My Friends on August 20th through iTunes and Amazon. A single featured on the album, “Philadelphia,” captures the fast moving pace of the youth with great vocal harmonies. It reminds me of Philadelphia areas where kids are running around and young people are passing by quickly to get to school or their jobs and older adults are sitting on their porch observing the scene while catching up on latest gossip. You can download “Philadelphia” for free and also listen to “My Friend”  as a sneak peak of their upcoming album release. Paper Lions will be making a stop in Philadelphia on October 25th at Johnny Brenda’s with Fossil Collective, another great band who I got to see on June 18th.
