Philly Local Artist Spotlight: The Folded Faces

The Folded Faces is comprised of four Drexel University students, who are currently carving their space into the West Philly music scene. The guys came together in November of 2012 to create a song for a school project, and enjoyed the group so much that they decided to turn the project into a full blown rock act.

Influenced by artists such as The Black Keys, 3 Doors Down, and Drive-By Truckers, The Folded Faces create grungy garage-band style rock music. Their first EP, Just The Tip, offers up three tracks you can groove to, with gritty guitar riffs reminiscent of classic rock.

The Folded Faces have been featured in the New Leaf Club’s College Music Festival and Drexel Campus Activity Board’s Battle of the Bands. You can keep up to date on any upcoming shows through the band’s Facebook page, and can download their debut EP from Bandcamp.
