Located on the waterfront in Manayunk, Main Street Music provides a collection of anything and everything “except trance”. They apparently hate trance. Along with their large selection of records and CD’s, the staff’s knowledge of their products has been highly praised. Located between Market and Race in Olde City, this shop screams vintage. Yellow lights guide you down the thin aisles where you can flip through hours of records. Specializing mostly in Hip Hop, Jazz, and Pop, this store brings the soul back to the Philadelphia music scene.


Creep Records

1050 N. Hancock Street

This record store with a little bit of edge is located right off Girard Avenue in the Piazza at Schimdts. Originally a record company based out of West Chester, PA, Creep Records now triples as a record store, recording studio and a small glass shop. The staff here is always ready to help.
