Chad Valley Plays Their First Philly Show

On Friday, 10/11, UK based electronic artist Chad Valley made his debut in Philadelphia. South Philly’s newest venue, Boot and Saddle, a small club space in a trendy western themed bar, was packed and ready to rock.

Cruiser, an indie-pop band from Philadelphia, opened the show and brought the crowd to their feet. The light-hearted and breezy music, reminiscent of surf rock, set a great tone for the evening.

Chad Valley took the stage and hit the audience with a wall of sound. Their performance was emotive, energetic, and incredibly lively. This concert was their first time playing in Philadelphia, and they made it clear how excited they were to be here.

The band is one of those rare instances where their live sound is even more captivating than their recordings, which is a difficult feat to accomplish. Give a listen to their debut album, Young Hunger, and keep an eye out for their return to the City of Brotherly Love.
