Foo Fighters Announce New Album

The Firefly Music Festival came and went this past weekend. For those who weren’t there, Foo FightersDave Grohl officially announced that the band will be releasing an album in the fall.

As one of the headliners of the music festival, which included a lineup of the Arctic Monkeys, Outkast, Weezer, Childish Gambino, Third Eye Blind, Twenty One Pilots, and many others. Foo Fighters played many of their hits, beginning with “Times Like These” and ending with “Everlong“, but not without some covers in between. They performed as a classic rock cover band and covered Queen and David Bowie‘s “Under Pressure”, along with Van Halen‘s “Ain’t Talkin’ ’bout Love,” Alice Cooper‘s “School’s Out,” and The Rolling Stones‘ “Miss You.”

If you were there for this performance or others at Firefly 2014, discuss the experience in the comments. If you didn’t go to Firefly this year, what would be your dream lineup for next year?
