Pink Floyd to Release New Album This Fall

Pink Floyd fans rejoice! Pink Floyd is set to release a new album this Fall, The Endless Riveraccording to Polly Samson, the wife of singer/guitarist David Gilmour. Samson tweeted this on Saturday night seemingly on a whim, stating that the new album “will be released in October.” This will be their first album in 20 years, following their “final” album The Division Bell released in 1994.

According to Rolling Stone, Durga McBroom-Hudson, one of the backing vocalists that toured with the band in the 1980s and 90s, further confirmed the new album and stated that it will consist of all unreleased songs.

October might seem like a long ways away. However, this Spotify playlist of The Division Bell might help keep you satisfied until The Endless River is released.

Some older rockers can’t really sing or perform the way they used to when they were younger but I’m really curious to see how this pans out.
