Reignwolf: The Legend You Haven’t Heard Of

On July 27th, Reignwolf will be performing at The Barbary on Frankford Ave in Philly.

“Who is this Reignwolf?” one may ask, which is understandable and the reason why this post exists.

Reignwolf (A.K.A. Jordan Cook) hails from the province of Saskatchewan, Canada and has created some serious buzz the past couple of years. He is known to not only seriously shred on the guitar, but to play the drums simultaneously.  Not just a kick drum, but a set as well.  He, along with fellow guitarist “Stitch” and “Texas Jo” on drums, have created a major fan base with only three official singles out (snag a listen here, here, and here).

Cook started playing guitar at the age of two, according to Seattle Met’s article on the Canada native.  He toured with some of his elementary school friends across his homeland, with his late father as tour manager.  He’s had gigs at festivals such as Sasquatch, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Austin City Limits, and Voodoo Experience, as well as being a part of Black Sabbath’s recent Spring tour.

Here’s a peek at Reignwolf’s magic, where he covers Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” on Seattle’s KEXP sessions.

Here’s another awesome performance of “Are You Satisfied?, one of Reignwolf’s singles, at Music Midtown in Atlanta, GA.

For those who were lucky enough to snag a ticket to this Sunday’s show, get ready to be blown away!  Rock On Philly will rocking with you!

Excited to be going? Wish you could go?  Tell us in the comments!
