Mineral and Into It. Over It. play Union Transfer on Thursday

Influential Austin, TX-based emo band Mineral will grace Philadelphia with their presence on Thursday, September 11th at Union Transfer. 2014 marks the band’s twentieth anniversary and original members Chris Simpson (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Gomez (bass), Gabriel Wiley (drums), and Scott McCarver (guitar) will reunite for their first shows since their split in 1998. EndSerenading was the second, and final album released by the band way back when in 1998, but fans should have a renewed sense of hope for new music with this upcoming tour. Since the reunion tour was originally announced in the spring, the band has added dozens of additional dates and will be performing abroad as well. For more information, visit their website.

Chicago-based by way of Cherry Hill, NJ band Into It. Over It., the solo project of Evan Weiss, will open up the evening which has been affectionately dubbed by some of my friends as #cryfest2k14. Don’t miss out, kids!
