Concert Preview: The World Tour

Pierce the Veil are storming the Electric Factory for the first time since Alternative Press’s 2013 Spring Fever Tour with All Time Low. For The World Tour, they’re armed with yet another stellar co-headliner, Sleeping with Sirens, which fans have been begging for since the two bands teamed up for their hit song “King For A Day,” now a Gold single with over 42 million YouTube views. Pierce the Veil brings an unmatched and unforgettable amount of energy to the stage. Not one person remained on their feet at Spring Fever, and the crowd was singing and cheering loud enough to overpower the band. This show was no exception, with the same level of excitement and showmanship to every performance, as clearly seen in Yahoo’s live concert recording. It’s no wonder Pierce the Veil was awarded Best Live Band at Alternative Press’ Music Awards 2014, with Jaime Preciado taking home Best Bassist and Mike Fuentes Best Drummer.

Pierce the Veil is not a band to miss live, and neither are their tour companions Sleeping with Sirens, who have recently dropped new singles in anticipation of their new album “Madness” to be released March 17. The first track, “Kick Me,” which peaked at #1 on Billboard’s trending 140, is a fast-paced anthem set to get everyone off their feet, while “Go Go Go” is an infectiously catchy sing-along track that brings promise to their upcoming release. Another world-class act, Sleeping with Sirens has many sold out shows behind them. Their impeccable and engaging live performance won over crowds at Vans Warped Tour 2013, nearly filling the Susquehanna Bank Center amphitheater.

Check out the trailer for The World Tour below. This is not the tour to miss, and with Philly’s February 14th show already sold out, February 15, the final chance, may not be far behind.
