Friday 4/3:

At Johnny Brenda’s, local band Restorations are spreading their chill spring vibes to Fishtown. Nothing says spring like sipping on local saison and jamming to Philly bands. Tickets are available here.

For those who are weary of pastels, black metal rockers Liturgy will be playing a transcendental, artistic set at Boot & Saddle on Friday. Lead singer Hunter Hunt-Hendrix shows the world how to really do metal in their latest album The Ark Work. Get tickets here.

Saturday 4/4:

During the day, hit up Macy’s to see the final day of their annual Macy’s Flower Show. The famous Wanamaker Organ will supply the soundtrack as you stare in amazement at breathtaking floral arrangements. Best of all: it’s free!

At night, the rambunctious Brits of Enter Shikari will be rocking out at TLA along with Stray From the Path, A Lot Like Birds, and I the Mighty.

Sunday 4/5:

The weather looks promising for Sunday (finally!) and it’ll be a great time to check out the Philly Zombie Parade, starting at 5:30pm on 6th and Lombard. The all-ages friendly zombie procession will make its way over to The Legendary Dobbs, where the over-21 crowd can grab a drink and start the 10th Annual Philly Zombie Crawl to neighboring bars offering special drinks. For those lamenting the end of the current season of The Walking Dead, this will be a great way to pay your respects to lost characters of the season.

Later on, head over to see Australian teen sensation Cody Simpson at World Cafe Live. He’s a household name to families with kids and his chill vibes and major guitar skills will give your mind a good calming down into next week. Get tickets here.
