Top Ten David Letterman Musical Guests (Old and New)

The Late Show with David Letterman has been appearing on our television screens since August 30th, 1993, and has now gained a reputation as one of the key places to hear and watch some amazing musicians, both well-known and up-and-coming (and it’s saddening that the final show is airing May 20th). As a belated celebration of host David Letterman’s birthday this past Sunday, Rock On Philly has put together a list of the top ten musical guests that appeared on his show, which includes performances from the early years to recent ones (in no particular order):

Kiesza: “Hideaway”

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros: “Life Is Hard”

Amy Winehouse: “Rehab”

Alanis Morissette: “You Oughta Know”

Alabama Shakes: “Don’t Wanna Fight”

Weezer: “Say It Ain’t So”
