Local pop-folk group Lovers League has paved quite a path for themselves over the past year. Their self-titled debut EP grabbed attention with its charming harmonies and lightly quirky touch. Now, the group prepares to release sophomore effort 2for which they called in producer Bill Moriarty (who has previously worked with Dr. Dog, Toy Soldiers, The Lawsuits, and more).

“Hide and Seek”, the lead single from the album, is a dreamy and sweet number that would cool down a sweltering summer night or make a cold night cozier. It features the group’s signature harmonies and a simple, catchy hook that will stick in listeners’ brains for hours.

Take a listen to “Hide and Seek” and see the video below, then make your way to Boot & Saddle tonight to pick up your own copy of 2 and taking in sets by gravelly rockers Levee Drivers and experimental rock group Vilebred. Show doors are at 8PM and the music starts at 8:30PM–don’t be late! Save yourself a little more time by picking up tickets online.
