Best Weekend Ever: Beardfest, Taylor Swift, Pride Parade!

One more week until Firefly! Get ready for the music over-load with a bunch of events this weekend.

Thursday 6/11:

Today kicks off Beardfest in Hammonton, NJ! The event runs until Saturday and consists of many great musicians playing for you in open air immersed in nature. Notable performers include Kid Felix, Nik Greeley, and West Philadelphia Orchestra. Get your tickets here!

Friday 6/12:

Rock On Philly is the official media sponsor for City Year, who is having Sips for City Year at the Impact Hub. There will be live music, food, and drinks and other supporters of education. Come meet some of the Rock On Philly staff!

Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie’s Girl ft Constantine Maroulis is throwing an epic throwback party at the TLA. Get your tickets here.

For a night of ukulele chilling, go see Uke-Hunt at Milkboy. Their music consists of more than just ukulele, and they rock out to ballads, 80’s throwback, and country.

World’s pop star Taylor Swift is performing her first night in Philly at the Lincoln Financial Field! The event is sold-out and fans all over the area have been waiting for this night (or Saturday). Bring on the best of your attire because Taylor’s fans never go out of style.

Saturday 6/13:

During the day, Islamic Heritage Festival will be taking place at Penn’s Landing where there will be live music and entertainment to create more awareness of the culture.

At night, Memphis rapper Juicy J will be at the TLA. He collaborates with Wiz Khalifa, who just rocked the stages of Susquehanna Bank Center. Get tickets here.

With Taylor Swift’s second night at the Linc and Barry Manilow at the Wells Fargo Center, South Philly is going to be one popping scene. Enjoy the massive amount of tailgating happening in the sports complex parking lots and be safe!

Sunday 6/14:

Philadelphia Pride Day Parade at Festival Pier and Penn’s Landing will definitely be worth catching for the spectacle and to support the LGBT community. Get all of the parade information here.

Best Coast will be at Union Transfer at night. They have collaborated with the likes of Rivers Cuomo and take influence from many decades. The west coast duo are bringing their surf flavor so don’t miss out!

Train will be rocking out at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden. These guys are always put on a stellar performance so make your way across the bridge and go see them live!
