Duran Duran Coming to MusikFest with New Album

Are you wondering this week , ‘Is There Something I Should Know?’… Well, you are in luck! Seemingly in the blink of a new wave make-up’d eye, ‘The Wild Boys’ of Duran Duran have returned as fresh as a ‘New Moon On Monday’ with their new album Paper Gods as well as 2015 tour dates to support its upcoming release, which will likely result in widespread ‘Girl Panic!’. While the next ‘Big Thing’ might be their 14th studio record, produced by Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Mr. Hudson and Joshua Blair, the band of ‘Notorius’ creativity also took the ‘Liberty’ of adding guest appearances by Janelle Monae, long-time Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, as well as UK violinist Davide Rossi… Though the most surprising ‘Astronaut’ to join them on the album to provide some delightful ‘Pop Trash’ is none other than the now probation-free Lindsay Lohan, who has been performing on the UK stage and is even become  inclined towards planting her red roots down in Britain long term. Not to give away ‘Too Much Information’, but Lindsay and her Sister Ali appeared as ‘Girls On Film’ alongside band members in Lindsay’s December 2014 photo she tweeted, which appears to have been a pre-cursor to the guest spot on the album. It certainly seems that Lindsay’s days of ‘Falling Down’ are in the past!

It seems the band is ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ for success all around ‘Planet Earth’ with their ambitious touring and album, which includes a return to PA, in Bethlehem which ‘Friends Of Mine’ will surely be excited about. While a ‘Serious’ and ‘Ordinary World’ might feature a standard venue stop, the group is returning August 6th to the Sands Steel Stage to kick-off Musikfest in its 31st year where they will be appearing for the first time since their performance in 2000. They will preface an eclectic mix of performers that include acts such as The Flaming Lips, Culture Club, O.A.R., Jerry Seinfeld, Reba McEntire, ZZ Top, 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, Darius Rucker of Hootie & The Blowfish, Snoop Dogg, as well as Seattle rockers Alice in Chains.

So save the date, save your ‘Breath After Breath’ and ‘Save A Prayer’ to land tickets, ‘The Reflex’ for you should be to check out their first singlePressure Off” with Mark Ronson and Janelle Monae which is gaining popularity.

It seems ‘All You Need Is Now’ to mark the ‘Perfect Day’ on your calendar to pick up Paper Gods out September 18th in the US!
