Hozier Drops New “Jackie and Wilson” Video

Well, if you needed anyone to liven up your Tuesday, look no further than that tall mug of Irish coffee Hozier to perk it right up. The Irishman, just ahead of his Radio City Music Hall show in NYC tonight, dropped a music video to the Tom-Waits-esque track, “Jackie and Wilson” with nonexistent fanfare, unlike his previous releases. The only indication could have been his Tonight Show performance on Monday, where he performed the song.

The video to the latest single off of his self-titled debut follows Andrew Hozier-Byrne and Co. on their tour adventures, most notably at the Glastonbury Festival and Newport Folk Festival. The video, unlike his other releases shows another, more intimate side of the man behind the manbun: joking, silly, and, by all extension, pretty normal for a global rock star. Take a look for yourself at the new video below.

What do you think of Hozier’s latest and greatest?  Tell us in the comments below!

“tall mug of Irish coffee” lol he looks so suave in this video throughout all the different touring clips. This video is quite different than “Take Me To Church”

Definitely! I actually cried the first time I watched “Take Me to Church” (I’m a sucker for tragic love stories…even 4 minute ones).
