This past weekend, Rock On Philly was invited to cover the first ever Landmark Music Festival in Washington, D.C. Set in the beautiful West Potomac Park, this was the first ticketed concert event in the National Mall’s History. The mission of the Landmark Music Festival, in addition to supporting the arts, is to raise awareness for the Trust for the National Mall’s Landmark Campaign, which aims to preserve “America’s Front Yard” for future generations. The lineup for Day 1 included Wale, Miguel, The War on Drugs, Drake, and more. Miss the action? Rock On Philly has got you covered with our photo recap.

D.C. native Wale really knows how to put on a show, opting to get up close and personal with his hometown fans.
