The first Landmark Festival, like any music festival in its first year, didn’t have a flawless start. Social media proved that many attendees were disgusted by the long lines for beverages and food on the first day. Hand it to Landmark, however, for quickly addressing these issues, making for a truly remarkable experience for Day 2. To top it all off, the second day’s line-up was just a little bit more weird and more complimentary to the Super Blood Moon which made for a truly historic day surrounded by the living history of the festival grounds.

Avers opened the day with some psychedelic rock to bring out the sunshine. The day started cloudy and was warm and sunny by the time the band played their last notes. The Richmond-based band’s energy was inviting and the instrumentation was tight, so as not to disturb your Drake hangover.
