Friday was a beautiful, not-so-hot day in our fair city. With barely any clouds in the sky, it seemed like Mother Nature was in a good mood for the moment, which benefited everyone… especially those who attended the much-anticipated, sold-out Twenty One Pilots show that night at Festival Pier. The band, who had been touring overseas in Taiwan, Japan, The Netherlands, and other countries, had their first show for their North American leg of the Blurryface Tour in Washington DC for two nights, making Philly their second stop and their biggest venue on the tour so far (and in Philly to date!) with the maximum capacity being around 6,500. The Skeleton Clique, which is TOP’s fanbase, were seen that day decked out in merch, along with hands and necks covered in black paint, the |-/ symbol written on faces, backs of hands, or on arms, and some even having tattoos that resemble some of the ones that lead singer Tyler Joseph has. To put it best, the Philly Clique was seriously representing.
