As the weather gets even cooler, the ghouls come out to play in Philly! There are so many fun shows and events coming your way this weekend, you definitely don’t want to miss out. From spotlighting up-and-coming talent to established acts, make this is your best weekend ever with our guide below!

Friday 10/23:

Kicking off your weekend right is Rock On Philly’s very own Battle of the College Bands! The battle to the last guitar string is happening at Hard Rock Cafe. The participating bands are Distressor, Baby Blitz, Andorra, and INDIGOLD. For this month’s Communion, Little May from Australia will be rocking out at Milkboy along with local act Like Crazy as a part of their US tour. Their newest album was just released this month and it’s not to be forgotten. Get tickets here.

Talented singer-songwriter Mikky Ekko will be at Underground Arts. He has collaborated with Rihanna for “Stay” and “Don’t Let Go” with legend Giorgio Moroder. Get tickets here.

If your Friday couldn’t be any more jam-packed, DJ Kaskade will be at The Fillmore. If you haven’t been inside The Fillmore yet, you’re missing out on life. The venue is huge and features multiple areas to hang out in before, during, and after the show while listening to your favorite tunes. Get tickets here.

Powerhouse is coming once again to the Wells Fargo Center, this time bringing artists like Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Future, Fetty Wap, and Big Sean. Hopefully Nicki Minaj makes a surprise appearance during Meek’s set like she did at Made in America! Get tickets here.
