I’m just going to leave my favorite Thanksgiving song here. Check out the shows for this long, holiday, weekend!

Thursday 11/26:

Wake up early and head out to the Parkway to catch the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It might be on a smaller scale than New York’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade but it’ll feature live performances with less lip syncing and your favorite local news reporters.

When the feasting is over and the sun goes down, walk off your food coma and head over to Love Park where it will be transformed into a Christmas Village with little shops and attractions, such as the big Christmas tree.

Friday 11/27:

The banjo bad girl Elle King will grace us at Union Transfer for a sold out show. After her time at UArts, she returns to Philly for a rowdy time. Horse Thief from Oklahoma City will be opening the show. Elle King won’t be back in Philly area until Firefly, so lucky ticket holders can catch her at this intimate performance this time around. If you still need tickets, try checking here.

Pennsylvania band August Burns Red will be at the TLA with Every Time I Die, Stick To Your Guns, Polyphia, and Wage War. That’s a lot of bands you can look forward to if you’re into metalcore and high energy. This Philly show is kicking off August Burns Red’s headlining tour, so come be the first to see them this tour. Buy tickets here.

Alternative rockers Circa Survive from Doylestown are performing their sold out set at Electric Factory. This is a perfect homecoming show and an awesome show to head to with your hometown besties. The lineup also includes RX Bandits and Citizen.
