Rock On Philly Presents: A Very Philly Christmas on 12/23!

‘Tis the season to be jolly… and to rock your socks off! Rock On Philly will be hosting our first A Very Philly Christmas downstairs at World Cafe Live on Wednesday, December 23rd. We’re organizing this special show with Musicopia, a local music non-profit that brings interactive music education and performance opportunities to thousands of underserved students in Pre-K through 12th grade annually.

This ALL AGES event will celebrate another great year of Philly music and will feature the talented artists that make up the eclectic Philly music scene, with performances from 20+ Philly acts including Andorra, Laura Cheadle, Deep City Healers, Chris Gennett, Rivers Monroe, Tara Hendricks, Sansom, Nicky P, and many more to be announced! Aside from the live performances, the evening will also include an Ugly Sweater Contest, giveaways, and special guest appearances.

The aim is to bring the entire scene together to mix, mingle, and raise a toast to all of the key players that make Philly music so special. From performers to music producers to radio personalities to booking agents to managers- the list goes on and on. We don’t have many opportunities during the year for everyone to come together, but the holiday season is the perfect time to take a step back, reminisce, and plan for another great year.

Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door, and a portion of the ticket sales will go to Musicopia. Doors open at 7PM and the show begins at 7:30PM.
World Cafe Live is located at 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia PA, 19104.

What an awesome event! Musicopia sounds like an amazing non-profit. Education of the arts is so essential for kids.
