Kieran Shuddall of Circa Waves Discusses New Album and Inspiration Ahead of Sold-Out Union Transfer Show

Two years ago, Kieran Shuddall’s Circa Waves were played on BBC  Radio 1’s DJ Zane Lowe, who named their single, “Get Away” the hottest record in the world. Since then, Circa Waves have lived up to their early success.  This year, they released their first EP T-Shirt Weather in May, followed shortly by the release their debut album, Young Chasers, and were voted one of the top acts of this year’s Glastonbury Music Festival after completing a massive global tour. I was able to speak with Kieran ahead of their sold-out show at Union Transfer about going from recording basement demos to international fame, playing for American audiences, and what the future holds for his promising young band.
