For those young and old who dream of a time when rock was rock ‘n’ roll, we’ve found your new favorite band. Mount Holly is a blues-based rock band that delivers no-frills rock and allows their musicianship to speak for itself. Their name comes from the New Jersey town in which they originally formed in 2014 (a town where they just received “keys” in their honor). In anticipation of their upcoming debut album, Mount Holly will be performing at Milkboy Philly this Friday, their first time playing together as a band in Philadelphia. Rock On Philly had the opportunity to speak to guitarist Nick Perri and vocalist Jameson Burt about the new album, playing live, and Wawa.
