There are few in Philadelphia who know the nightlife better than Reid Benditt. The acting head of marketing for the Electric Factory has had a remarkably prolific career, beginning with his time as a radio show host on WXPN. Benditt went on to become the marketing director at Four Corners Management, handling the branding and campaign efforts of Union Transfer, Morgan’s Pier, Drinker’s Tavern, and a number of other prolific music venues, bars, and restaurants. Since his start at Electric Factory in 2013, Reid Benditt has taken on the tall task of finding new ways to promote concerts, attract audiences through social media, and explore new technologies in order to maintain the venue’s competitive edge. Philadelphia’s music scene is one of the hottest live music markets in the whole country, yet Reid has proven to be adept at cultivating interest and understanding how to pull in an audience. We reached out to Reid to talk about his favorite hangouts, handling stress, and the source of Philadelphia’s rapid growth.

Reid Benditt is a great dude with good taste in music. He’s also got a good knack for comedy and is involved in the local scene as well. Keep up the good work, Reid!
