Unknown Mortal Orchestra Grooves at Union Transfer

On Thursday night at Union Transfer, Unknown Mortal Orchestra got their fans dancing all night with their irresistible psychedelic funk. Frontperson Ruban Nielson stole the show with his soothing, yet wild and controlled vocals, which especially stood out on songs like “So Good At Being In Trouble,” from the Portland-based band’s second album II. Though they interspersed their set with some older hits, the majority of their show came from last year’s album Multi-Love, making for a fun and upbeat night.
