Best Weekend Ever: Happy Independence!

It’s a long holiday weekend to celebrate America in the city where it all began! There’s a long list of shows this weekend, including a huge free party at the parkway! Grab your sparklers, hot dogs, and don’t forget the tickets!

Thursday 6/30:

Civil Twilight is back, this time at the Foundry with Heather Maloney. We previously interviewed drummer Richard Wouters of Civil Twilight back in November prior to their show and he talked about new material they’ve been working on. You’ll have a chance to hear all the new stuff in person if you head out to this show. Get tickets here.

Friday 7/1:

One of the free concerts put on by Wawa Welcome America will be by the Philadelphia Orchestra at Penn’s Landing. The internationally acclaimed orchestra with conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin will be a treat to hear as a part of the holiday weekend. Get details here.

Saturday 7/2:

LA’s EDM hotshot Kill the Noise is at Union Transfer for the Alt Classic Tour with Wuki. Buy tickets here.

Sunday 7/3:

The Philly POPS are putting on a free show at Independence Hall. They will leave you feeling patriotic and ready for Monday’s celebration. Bring your family and come out early to get a good seat! Get more information here.

MONDAY 7/4:

Happy fourth! Leon Bridges and Philly native Leslie Odom, Jr. from Hamilton will be the ones to see at the Parkway’s annual free concert closing out Wawa Welcome America’s week-long celebration. Leon Bridges’ has a voice that will elevate you to the next level. Hamilton is the biggest show on Broadway right now and this will be your chance to see Leslie Odom, Jr. without paying hundreds of dollars.
