Best Weekend Ever: XpoNential Music Fest, 311, LoTR!

This weekend is going to be a hot one, with a heat warning in effect on Saturday. The great music is only going to make it hotter in town.

Friday 7/22:

311 and Matisyahu are touring together for the Unity Tour at Festival Pier. They come around every summer to spread their joy to lovers of chill tunes and funky vibes. Tickets are still available here.

The XpoNential Music Festival kicks off in Camden with a setlist of extremely talented artists. Friday’s show will include performances by Father John Misty, Kurt Vile & the Violators, and Ryan Adams and The Shining. Get three day passes or individual day passes here.

Saturday 7/23:

The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers at the Mann with the Philadelphia Orchestra. The orchestra is excellent and their movie series brings out the biggest fans and some interesting costumes. Bring your picnic baskets and enjoy! Tickets are available here.

The XpoNential Music Festival keeps it going on Saturday, with Josh Ritter, Gary Clark Jr., Alabama Shakes, and much more! Alabama Shakes has been killing it the past few years and you absolutely cannot miss them. Gary Clark Jr. on guitar is amazing.

Sunday 7/24:

Sunday wraps of the XpoNential Music Festival with performances from Philly band The Districts, Old Crow Medicine Show, and the powerful Brandi Carlile. Every year brings another great lineup, and this year is no different. Don’t miss out!
