Get back into groove with the end of summer and start of school year with some bomb shows this weekend in Philly.

Friday 8/26:

We all rooted for Ja Rule and Ashanti back in the day and they’re together for a show at the Electric Factory. The pair started touring together in the winter and the show has been a huge hit so far, selling out everywhere. The show is sold out now in Philly too, and you can look for resale tickets here.

Rocker Butch Walker will be at TLA. Check out his latest lyric video below for his “Stay Gold” with the hilarious Goldmember dancing on loop. He’s been working at his craft since the 80’s in many different bands and you can hear a little bit of that in the rhythm of “Stay Gold.” Tickets are available here.

Australian country star Keith Urban is coming to BB&T Pavilion with Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris. Keith Urban’s latest album Ripcord was freshly released this past spring. Sidenote: Did you know Keith Urban’s middle name is Lionel? Marren Morris’ “My Church” ranked number one on the country charts in 2016. Tickets are still available for purchase here.

I can’t make you love Bonnie Raitt, but you should go see her at the Mann Center with Richard Thompson Trio to sooth your soul. Bonnie Raitt is a big figure to female guitarists and singer-songwriters everywhere. Her songwriting is seriously legendary, with all the accolades to prove it. Tickets are available here.

Saturday 8/27:

R&B star Lauryn Hill will be bringing soul to the Mann Center. From her days with Fugees, her phenomenal performance in Sister Act 2, to her solo career, she has been unstoppable. Her voice is straight from the heavens and naturally packed with dynamic range. Tickets can be purchased here.

Heffron Drive is a duo consisting of Kendall Schmidt of Big Time Rush and Dustin Belt. They are performing an intimate set at The Foundry. Their style is pop-rock that you can dance to, making it a perfect end of summer show. Tickets are available online here.

Go chill out with Jimmy Buffett at BB&T Pavilion if you want to escape the city-vibes for a day. The man knows how to throw a good party for fun people and you won’t be disappointed. Tickets are available here.

Sunday 8/28:

British soul singer Laura Mvula will be at Union Transfer. Go dance with her as she displays a fusion of jazz and pop with her ethereal voice. The production level of her music is high and creative. Tickets can be purchased here.
