Best Weekend Ever: Made In America And More

Labor Day Weekend is here. That means Made In America is back at the Parkway for the weekend for a wild time. If you can’t make it to the festival, there are other shows and events happening all over the city for the holiday weekend.

Thursday 9/1:

Night Market is back, this time at Front and Snyder. There will be many different cuisines to try and free live music. It may rain, but the market will be set up under an overpass so staying dry should be no issue. Come bring your friends and go for a stroll!

 

Bel Heir, Commonwealth Choir, and SRiD will be at Ortlieb’s. You’ll get up close and intimate with these local bands, enjoy some good selection of draught beer, and as a bonus, tickets are $1!!! Get them here.

 

Friday 9/2:

Korn and Rob Zombie are bringing metal to BB&T Pavilion with In This Moment. The experience will be absolutely insane and you won’t see a lineup like this in a while. Get tickets here.

 

Saturday 9/3:

The Philadelphia Songwriters Project is coming to FDR Park with Parks On Tap for two days of jamming. What’s better than good beer, good music, and a big park to hang out with your friends? Get more event info here and find out where in the park the event is happening.

 

Bad girl Rihanna is the headliner for Made In American night one. Other artists to watch for are Porches, Grimes, and Adventure Club. Get two day and one day tickets for the festival here. Stay hydrated have fun!

 

 

Sunday 9/4:

Coldplay headlines Made In America’s last night. They sold out Lincoln Financial Field in August and Philly is ready for more. Also watch for Travis Scott, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, St. Lucia, and more.
