Win Tickets to Bluegrass Shows this Fall at Ardmore Music Hall!

The fast-approaching autumn concert season marks the launch of the first ever Bluegrass Passport contest at the Ardmore Music Hall.  You could receive a pair of tickets to ALL of these bluegrass and roots shows coming to AMH this fall:

10/7 Grammy Award Winner and mandolinist Sam Bush. The Father of Newgrass and King of Telluride has long since established himself as roots royalty, creating stylistic innovations that have changed the course of bluegrass and roots music alike.

10/16 Progressive bluegrass giants Yonder Mountain String Band. For nearly 18 years, YMSB has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n’ roll and improvisation.

10/22 The Grateful Ball: The Travelin’ McCourys + Jeff Austin Band. Jeff Austin is the former YMSB mandolinist and frontman, and Ronnie McCoury on mandolin and Rob McCoury are the sons of bluegrass legend Del McCoury. Both the Jeff Austin Band and Travelin’ McCourys will each play a set of original music, followed by a set of Grateful Dead tunes.

11/13 WXPN Welcomes: Anderson East. The 27 year-old’s Soul-Americana outfit gained massive acclaim in 2015 after the release of his first full-length album, Delilah. His voice and aesthetic has drawn Ray LaMontagne and Joe Cocker comparisons and his high-energy shows have enthralled live audiences nation-wide.

12/10 WXPN Welcomes: Mason Porter + Hezekiah Jones. Mason Porter blends earthy, Appalachian instruments with jam-based sensibilities. Hezekiah Jones incorporates Americana and bluegrass with infusions of New Orleans style jazz, harmonic folk and Beatles-like pop-rock.

All you need to do is simply enter your email address and name to this form by Friday, September 30th. The winner will be notified via email.

This contest is sponsored by Philly Bluegrass, who connects listeners with the best local, regional, and national bluegrass and roots music in the greater Philadelphia area.

Good luck! Tickets for all of these shows can be found on
