Best Weekend Ever: The Disco Biscuits, Maren Morris, Isaiah Rashad

Philly is popping with shows every weekend and this one is no exception. Enjoy the nice weather this weekend and don’t miss out on some great acts!

Friday February 3rd:

Chad Valley from England and Computer Magic from New York are bringing some electronic sounds to Milkboy Philly. Computer Magic is Danielle Johnson’s musical persona, and her music is catchy and rhythmic. Tickets can be purchased here or at the door.

Local heroes The Disco Biscuits are performing at The Fillmore for 3 consecutive nights, starting Thursday. They streamed their Thursday night performance live on YouTube and the energy in there was amazing. As Philly’s favorite jam band, they will blow your minds. The Saturday night show is sold out so Friday is your best bet. Get your tickets here.

Saturday February 4th:

Country star Maren Morris is coming to Philly for a sold out performance at the TLA. She is nominated this year for a Grammy for Best New Artist. Her style is modern country and has gained a successful following. Try getting resale tickets here.

If you’d rather hear some hard rock, head over to the Electric Factory for some Alter Bridge. Their latest album The Last Hero was released in October and received high marks. Tickets can be purchased here.

Soul singer/rapper Isaiah Rashad sold out his performance at Union Transfer. His style that incorporates hip-hop and rap into soul is fresh and he keeps the old school sounds on top of that. Try looking for resale tickets here.

Sunday February 5th:

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! The heavenly goddess know as Lady Gaga will be gracing the field at half time for what will probably be a spectacle that will have people talking and the POTUS tweeting. She impressed us last year with her singing of the National Anthem in the striking red pant suit. Watch the game and catch the performance that will cap off the football season.

If you’re heading to one of these shows, let us know in the comments! If we missed any shows you are going to, tag us on social media @RockOnPhilly to show us how much fun you had!
