New Singles to Jam To

Red Hot Chili Peppers, “Goodbye Angels”

Get your tissues ready- the latest from the Chili Peppers’ The Getaway is kind of a fun downer. While the video chronicles a young woman’s high and comedown, the lyrics tell a darker, much sadder story of a woman’s lost battle with addiction in a letter to the woman “I want to know right now.” Check it out below!

Perfume Genius, “Die 4 You”

Continuing on this downward spiral, this track isn’t exactly a jammer by nature; it’s a pleading love song of sorts with some kink thrown in. In short, the latest single from Perfume Genius’s latest album No Shape is nuanced, edgy, certainly to ~die~ for. Check it out below!

Lindsey Stirling, “Lost Girls”

Just in time for her documentary to premiere on YouTubeRed, violinist/dancer/YouTuber Lindsey Stirling has released a brand new video for her song, “Lost Girls.” If you’re not used to listening to classical music, don’t worry–it’s an electric violin and seriously cool. Check out her new video below!

Bishop Briggs, “The Way I Do”

The video for Brigg’s single “The Way I Do” has finally been released! From Brigg’s bluesy voice to the R&B/trip-hop backing track, this tune is one that will be in your head for days for all the right reasons.  Take a listen and see for yourself below!

Miley Cyrus, “Malibu”

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you know that Miley Cyrus has undergone a complete makeover. Gone is the Bangerz-era cultural-misappropriation and she’s back (almost nauseatingly) to her post-Disney days, with this soft, catchy love song on the beach. Get ready for wedding season and to hear this song at many a slow dance. Check it out below!

New Albums To Love

Although the duo have now added a drummer, you can breathe a great sigh of relief that the band is still true to their sound with a few more surprises in store. The lyrics have gotten less blunt, more up to interpretation, but that’s okay; their core is still the same, just more honed. Take a listen and get it here.

Zac Brown BandWelcome Home

The latest from GRAMMY-winning Zac Brown Band is the band’s most unapologetically country and personal album to date.  You can get it here.

The latest from PWR BTTM refuses to be confined by genre-limits. It’s light-hearted, happy punk-grunge-rock and you should probably already be listening to it. You can get it here.

Paramore, After Laughter

The two singles leading up this were kind of window dressing for a deeper core. At the heart of Paramore’s newest album is isolation, confusion, and definitely a “letting go” in the form of a kiss-off with some great 80’s-influenced synthpop. Get it here.

SeetherPoison the Parish

Seether is back with a new, deliciously well-rounded metal album, combining the best parts of some of their earlier works into one. The band eighth studio effort is loud, angry, and you definitely should give it a listen. You can get it here.
