ODESZA Dazzles at Electric Factory

ODESZA gave Philly much to be thankful for during the week of Thanksgiving. The Seattle electronic duo played 3 nights in a row at the Electric Factory from November 20th to November 22nd, two of which sold out.

Openers Louis Futon and Sofi Tukker got the large crowd hyped for ODESZA, and once the duo made the stage the crowd was entranced for the 2+ hours they played.

ODESZA provided a visual feast that featured jaw-dropping videos enveloping the stage and intricate lights coordinated with the music. The real stars, though, may have been the six-piece drumline, trombonist, and trumpeter that accompanied ODESZA on stage to provide live music that synchronized with the electronic beats. The result was a performance art piece that proves why an electronica concert is a worthwhile experience.
