Singer-songwriter Deadfellow (the nom de plume of Hayden Sammak) has been through some changes recently. He moved to West Philly, switched his management, and is about to release new music that will end the three-album saga he released to critical acclaim last year.

“It’s the nail in the proverbial coffin [of the trilogy],” he says of the untitled album. “There’s many aesthetic choices that I think are really going to turn some people off, and really turn some people on.”

Sammak recorded most of the album in Nashville and completed post-production and auxiliary recording at Studio 4 in Conshohocken (the former home of legendary label Ruffhouse Records).

Sammak has successfully criticized our indulgent culture with his thought-provoking lyrics in his previous albums (Love Songs for the Contemporary ListenerMescalifornia: A California Dream, and Millennials In Love (And Other Pre-Apocalyptic Standards) ), and he continues that trend with his new music.
