Philly should feel lucky that retro-pop sister duo Lily & Madeleine are hosting their album release party in the City of Brotherly (or should I say Sisterly?) Love this Friday, February 22nd at the World Café Live. Titled Canterbury Girls, the album is equipped with whimsical harmonies and an undeniable bond, but it’s not all candies and rainbows – these women draw inspiration from their hometown of Indianapolis to make bold statements in light of the divisive #MeToo era.

With help from co-producers Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuck (who just won the GRAMMY Album Of The Year for Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour), Lily & Madeleine have created an infectious but important album that will resonate for years to come.

The sisters (last name Jurkiewicz) spoke to Rock On Philly about the new album, their personal #MeToo experiences and more!
