Travis Scott and Cardi B will headline this years Made in America Festival on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Aug 31-Sep.1. This is the eighth year Jay-Z’s festival will take place even amongst some pushback that the festival is causing the city more harm than good.

Travis Scott will be making his second appearance at the festival. His first, was in 2016 less than 48 hours after his second studio album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight released. It was his first time performing the album since it’s official release and his excitement showed. He jumped in the crowd, surfed his way over to a nearby tree, and didn’t leave before he performed a memorable “3500” that the world heard about before the day was over. That tree has since been removed from the parkway.

Other big names at the festival include Juice WRLD, who held one of the festivals more well-attended sets last summer. Kodak Black who was scheduled to also perform at the 2016 festival but was arrested due to a number a different charges.

Philadelphia native Tierra Whack will make her first Made In America appearance after a string of recent releases including “Only Child”, “Gloria”, “CLONES”, “Wasteland” and “Unemployed”. A bigger package of music from her debut, Whack World is definitely on the horizon.

Tickets for Tidal subscribers are on sale now and tickets for the general public go on sale April 5. With Travis Scott and Cardi B headlining the special guest opportunities are endless.
